Staged around outdoor locations across Media City and Salford Quays, Lightwaves Festival by Quays Culture invites visitors to explore a trail of dramatic light installations that animate and transform the waterside environment.  

This year’s festival takes place Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th December. From 4pm to 10pm each evening visitors can enjoy light projections from leading artists, both local and national, bringing a variety of different work; thought-provoking, playful, dreamlike and fun.

Martin Glover will lead two British Sign Language (BSL) tours of Lightwaves 2022 for the local deaf community and friends on Friday 2nd Dec, 5pm and 7pm.
