We’re over the moon! Quays Culture’s first ever light-based artwork commission, Aeolian Light by Squidsoup is amongst 25 works selected for the Lumen Prize 2015/16 Global Tour, and will be travelling to New York, London, Shanghai and Caerphilly Castle, Wales.
The news was announced on Wednesday 19th August at ISEA 2015 in Vancouver, the 21st international symposium on electronic art, where our programme producer, Lucy Dusgate is on a research and development trip, and is over-joyed!
This means that as well as being eligible for the People’s Choice Award (open to a public vote – visit the Online Gallery, register for an account and give us five stars), we’re in the running for several top awards from the judges themselves. We’ve got our fingers-crossed and hope you have too.
