Aeolian Light (Dec 2014 – Jan 2015)
A Quays Culture commission in partnership with University of Salford, international artists Squidsoup create an immersive light-based installation responding the effects of the wind.
Cinema Truck / Soldier’s Song (Oct 2014)
A pop-up cinema truck showcasing a specially curated programme of films from Northern film-makers, alongside a special performance of Quarantine’s Soldier Song, a pop-up karaoke booth, where the public can sing alongside active military service personnel.
Honour (Aug 2014)
A one-off multimedia spectacular for an audience of 5,000, commemorating the lives of those affected by World War 1, one hundred years after it began. Featuring dancers, choirs and digital artists performing on an unprecedented scale.
